The Power of Super 8 Film Boot Camp! March 25, 26, & 27 2011!
Phil Vigeant - Super 8 Expert and Author |
You won't want to miss this powerful 3 day event where Phil Vigeant, Super 8 film expert, author, and Pro8mm President will draw from his 35 years of experience, covering the entire Super 8 film workflow with expanded emphasis on all the major components of the process.
No digital plug in can do what real film can do. If you want a real film look you have to use real film; but you don't have to use large expensive film equipment and stock to get these looks. Super 8 filmmaking is growing as a production medium and is used to punctuate and contrast digital cinema and new media. With the right advice and guidance, film can be used very inexpensively and add aesthetic value to any video or digital production project.
The boot camp will teach you what you need to know to use Super 8 film in theatrically released features, music videos, commercials, TV shows, documentaries, weddings and more. Learn how to avoid common pitfalls and format incompatibility issues, along with the best practices in shooting, processing, scanning and editing. The boot camp features guest speakers in the industry, hands-on training, open house at Pro8mm, training materials, and more. Learn how you can become an expert in this industry!
