Pro8mm's Super 8 film teleseminars are hosted on-line and are free! Learn from Super 8 film expert's Rhonda & Phil Vigeant from the comfort of your own home by simply following along on your computer. Seminars are typically 1-2 hours and will showcase presentations on a variety of Super 8 film topics including Super 8 Film Cameras, Super 8 Film Processing, Super 8 Film home movie archiving, and more. The Power of Super 8 Film Seminars
The Power of Super 8 Film Seminar is a traveling road show across the US and is typically hosted in conjunction with local organizations and film groups. Phil will take you on a journey through the evolution of Super 8 film and teach you his secret tips about how The Power of Super 8 Film has been the foundation for some of biggest film careers in Hollywood. Find out how you can learn Super 8 film to make your projects more aesthetically unique on a budget. Check out our events calendar for a city near you!
Super 8 Film Hands-on Workshops
Pro8mm is available to host private Super 8 workshops at your school, organization or meet up group. The Power of Super 8 Film hands-on workshop is a 3-hour event that includes lecture, hands on training and shooting film. The first part will consist of a presentation about the history of Super 8 and the aesthetic value it adds to any project. The second part will consist of hands-on training teaching you how to use a Super 8 camera! Each participant will have the opportunity to shoot there own roll of Super 8 film.
Pro8mm will provide all the equipment including cameras, film and educational resource materials. The processing and scanning service fees are included as part of the registration material.
The Price is $75.00 per participant with a minimum 8 participants. This does not include travel cost.

If you attend some of the biggest trade shows in the industry don't forget to stop by and say hi to Pro8mm! We often have a booth in the expo or Phil is presenting a session or panel. We annually host "Do A Shot with Pro8mm" at Cinegear, which is a free hands on Super 8 film shooting session with free film. Included are some basic hands on training, one roll of Super 8 film, processing, scanning to HD, delivered on a data DVD in Pro Res 422, and a free t- shirt to all participants!
